One moment, everything was normal. Then the World Core woke up and slaughtered almost everything alive so it could harvest their Chi.

After that, it rebuilt everything and put the survivors in a game-like environment, pitting them against monsters and each other.

The rules are different now. Chi power is as important as being able to fight.

I'm one of the survivors. With my knowledge of martial arts and my special Chi skill, I'm turning myself into a force to be reckoned with.

good system litrpg book definitely worth a listen love the story progression and narrator .

His books are always full of life but this audiobook bring it to a new level. This is perfect for any gamelit fan who is looking for a new book to listen to

Couldn’t finish this one

Performance was top notch, but I found the story too predictable and somewhat cartoonish. MC is dense, AI overly snarky, cringey escape artist villain, etc. The mc’s dog is hands down best part of the book. Pure gold there.

Wonderful story, believable and relatable MC and cast, along with an excellent narration team!! So very good, can’t wait for the next!!

A New Delve

This is one my first delve into the more mature stories and honestly, I was far from disappointed. Not only does the story and the system there in stay interesting the way the work the more mature elements with the mc actually make a lot of sense. I like that merge skill to be honest which could have been used even without the adult content but again I liked it.

The world and the system/systems voice kept me laughing as did some of the references. Would have loved the monster cores to have more impact rather then just increased stats/chi or what have you but hey it was about the mc and his relationships. Which is what we were all here for to be honest. Can't say I disliked any of the waifus though the cliche useless/ helpless damsel is a bit old.

I would definitely say give this book a shot if you don't mind the more mature side of life. The world itself is intriguing and everything just adds together to make it better.
