Kept me engaged!

I know it’s a good book when I want to read or listen to it whenever I could.

No, no, no, slap, slap

I like the book but she was so, so, so nosey and naive it almost made me want to stop listening. It made you see the negative side of young arranged marriages. I just wanted to slap some comman sense into her. The book also gave education into arranged marriages and why they aren't very popular now.

Decent

This book has a lot of twists and a shocking ending, but the development felt slow at times. I’m still not sure how I feel about it overall, especially since the reviews are so highly rated. That said, I really appreciated how it explores the intersection of culture and being raised in America. I’m glad I read it, even though I didn’t love it.
