Carbon Leaf recorded their first album in 1995 and haven't looked back since. Today, with over a dozen albums released as a leading independent band, they have been tapped for a handful of national awards - many for their outstanding songwriting talent. Multi-award winning program director Ray White hooked up with their frontman Barry Privett who filled us in with his insights into the bands' early years along with their latest release Time Is The Playground.
