Unexpected love

I enjoyed Rowan and Grayson’s nanny, hiding in plain sight, widower single dad, enemies to lovers romance with a side of danger. Greyson is the head witch hunter for the Covenant Syndicate. He is also the father of three 12 year old triplet daughters. Rowan is a witch in hiding after being forced against her will to perform magic against other supernaturals (Book 1 and 2). Greyson is looking for her. Brimstone arranges Rowan to be hired as the triplets nanny - hiding under the witch hunter’s nose. There is instant chemistry and attraction but being together is the definition of complicated. Despite being short, the story was well written and included witty dialogue, good world building, characters with dimension and an engaging storyline. I love this series.

Marnye Young did a phenomenal job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters convincingly.
