Jesse’s walking Kim’s dogs when he’s snatched off the streets of Vancouver leaving them behind to fend for themselves. He's whisked away in the dark where he's imprisoned in an ancient, round tower to be tortured by a bearded Anglophile. What does the torturer want? Why is Jesse imprisoned in a round tower? Where is the tower? Will Kim be able find him? Will he be reunited with his cats, Max and Zoe, and her dogs, Lulu and Penny?
