Unique scifi with advanced tech and aliens

I really enjoy the lifelike science and character interactions. The author builds out from a near future scenario where alien tech integrates into special forces and gives us a fantastic adventure to see how it will play out. It’s fun and has an emotional core that keeps us vested to the end and eager for the next book! Love the narrator as well. Great job on male and female characters and incorporating the aliens’ communication.
