Four lifelong friends, one ludicrous idea, and a bank robbery that should never have worked.

In the haze of stale beer, bad jokes, and even worse poker hands, Joe, Ray, Mike, and Terry hatch the ultimate midlife crisis: robbing a bank. They're not criminals, just four average blokes with too much time, too little money, and one tragically convincing plan scribbled on the back of a pizza box. But what starts as a beer-fuelled fantasy soon spirals into a dangerously real operation.

As paranoia builds and egos clash, the gang struggles to keep their plan, and their friendship, from falling apart. Because pulling off a heist is hard. But surviving it? That might be impossible.

Be Careful What You Wish For is a laugh-out-loud crime caper packed with wit, tension, and just enough incompetence to make you nervous.
