A cute little story. The kids loved it and it helped us to have a conversation about truth.

I Read This with My Kid and We Both Loved Benny!

Benny the Lovable is such a sweet and simple story with a big heart. The honesty lesson came through in a way that felt real, not preachy. My kid totally related to Benny’s little mistake, and it actually opened up a great talk about telling the truth. Super cute and meaningful!

Lovely book

I found the book very lovely and the lesson very valuable. I wish it were a little bit longer. 4min seems a very short time even for a kid.

Larry is a great character!

I appreciated that Benny felt guilt and that Larry forgave him. I did wish that Larry would have said it made him sad that Benny lied first or at least looked sad. (Maybe he does in the print version.) That way there would have been more of a consequence for Benny's lie instead of instantaneous forgiveness. I did like the friendship deepening actions.
