Main FmC inner thoughts drive me insane

Loved the story but FMC was a bit much! She has me anxiety and I couldn’t grasp how someone can be so angry about her marriage. Understandably that when this happens in real life, this character came across as a bit entitled and just plain annoying. It was clear the MMC was trying but she approached everything with antagonism towards him. Exhausted me.

Absolutely entertaining

Such a good story. I would definitely deem it a second chance romance. I loved seeing them fall back in love with each other. You still get good little bits of the other characters too. Madam Esmeralda is still an amazing secondary character. I also loved when things finally clicked. You’ll know when you know lol. The spice levels good too. Consistent with the first book. The audiobook absolutely adds to the story. Connor Crais and CJ Bloom did a fantastic job with the narrations with fabulous support from Stephen Dexter, Sean Masters and Angelina Rocco!

🎧 CJ Bloom as Sloane was perfection—strong, vulnerable, and effortlessly captivating. She gave Sloane a voice you feel in your chest.
