The City of London Bank calls in Cameron and the Argentum infosec team when the Speakeasy Worm, a global threat, shuts them down. The white hats crack the code easily, but as they dig into the virus, they discover a hidden message addressed to the SimCavalier. A hurricane of cyberattacks is on the way, and a global crime syndicate is taunting its most dangerous adversary.

Cameron’s only protection is anonymity, but a journalist who has been following the SimCavalier for months goes public with the story. The SimCavalier’s identity is compromised, and Cameron’s in danger. Cameron’s trusted lieutenant, Ross, is trapped and blackmailed by the very cybercriminals that he and his colleagues should be chasing. He sets a false trail, distracting Cameron from the real threat as the seeds of destruction and disaster are planted. When a global wave of cyberattacks is unleashed, Cameron and the team must take down the syndicate before lives are lost.
