Exquisite Narration

This a must-read satire of the issue of race in the United States. Many of the concepts brought forth are still relevant today. The narrator maintains a brilliant performance throughout the novel and maintains engagement throughout.

Storyline belittles black women. The author glorified the supposed beauty of white women and portrayed black females in a negative light.
