Black River

Black River is the most compelling thriller you'll listen to this year.

Detective Sergeant Rose Riley, meanwhile, is part of the taskforce desperately trying to find the killer before he strikes again. Adam Bowman's excavation of his past might turn out to be Rose's biggest trump card or it may bring the whole investigation crashing down, and put her own life in danger.

A lovely read from a local

I heard about this book from the local rag and have enjoyed it thoroughly. It was so great to find it on audible books. A great read. Congratulations Matthew Spencer from a Birchgrove reader

Well narrated but not up to the hype

This was narrated really well but Kellie Jones would have rated 5 stars from me if her broad Australian had been less cliched.
The novel was interesting, but not intriguing. It became something of an unconstructive criticism of wealthy private schools (however deserving) through almost cartoon characters and scenarios. I didn't hang on every word and it was not compelling but definitely worth listening to.
