Black Times Ten

50,000 years ago, maybe more, Utu sat at his workbench staring at a blank page. He knew what he wanted to do, but he wasn't sure it could be done without knowing the proper words. During Utu's training, his professor said that the Great Creator spoke the Words, and the Words created the Earth and every living thing on it. Of the seven languages that Utu could speak, the Great Creator's language wasn't one of them.

There was a simple solution. Utu could build more of his new Librarians, then scatter them around the Earth, searching for the land where the Great Creator lived. Utu's Librarians could learn his Great Creator's language and then return home and teach Utu.
