Bleeding Heart

Bleeding Heart is a collection of essays on political issues that includes general commentary on a variety of issues, a large selection of open letters, a chapter on queer issues, and a section on race and othering. The book also has a companion volume, A Full Heart, a collection of more personal writings. Most of the pieces in both books were originally published as Facebook notes or blog posts, and many of them were also published in print or online in publications from Madison Wisconsin's weekly arts paper, Isthmus, to the nationally known and respected magazine, The Progressive.
