Kathleen Early...wHy???

The book is fine. Predictable, but exactly what you're looking for when you choose this type of book. Nothing impressive or illuminating, rather it's entertaining. And I think Kathleen Early is a very good reader, BUT... She has to stop pronouncing the 'h' in 'wh' words: wheel, why, whisper, etc. I know it's a small thing and it's technically correct, but it's old fashioned and overly formal. And it's SO distracting. It's all I can hear. It's so annoying that I might have to stop listening to this reader.

Why does she pronounce the Hs?

It is like a Family Guy episode. Wheel. While. Awhile. When. STOP PRONOUNCING THE Hs! It is ridiculously annoying!

I knew who it was almost at the beginning

It's kind of predictable. I knew who the psycho was the moment his character entered the story. Kind of disappointed but it's still a good story and the narrator is awesome. :)

Entertaining but lots of holes

The story was entertaining but the whole story line was a little far fetched for me. I figured out the killer very early in the book and felt like connections that were made at the end would have been made by police or detectives much sooner…the story also ended without following up on some of the characters. For anyone who reads a lot of thrillers or mysteries, this one may be a little bit of a let down.

great book!

It was a slow start to the book. But finally really caught my attention in the middle and then kept me going through the end. Karen Slaughter is an excellent author and I very much enjoy the narrator..
