No one blends humor and sensuality like New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands in this captivating story of feuding nobles forced to marry and destined to fall in love.

Love thy neighbor, tis said. A fine idea, except when the neighbor in question is Lord Holden. Lady Helen Tiernay has complained frequently about his treatment of his people. Too frequently perhaps, for the king intends to curb their constant bickering by ordering them to wed. Helen can t refuse a royal decree, but she ll do everything possible to drive away her devilishly attractive husband-to-be.

Holden has faced all manner of horrors on the battlefield. But marriage to the tyrant of Tiernay is still a worrying prospect until he glimpses Helen in the flesh. What flesh it is soft, lush, made for his touch. If she weren t so intent on thinking up devious ways to prevent consummating their bond, Helen would see how perfect they are together, and that a marriage begun as enemies can turn to absolute pleasure.

Bliss is an Outstanding story. When Lady Helen Tiernay is order by King Henry to marry her neighbor "The Hammer" Lord Heathe Holden she is determine to make him cry off. She hates him and believes he has done some horrible things to the tenants that live on his land.

This story is Hilarious, the characters are just loveable. Its fast paced excellent writing and dialog between the H/H. There is also someone trying to kill Lord Holden. I love Lady Helen, her aunt and there maids Hijinks. They come up with some of the funnies ways to make Heathe cry off. Soon Heathe finds out what they are up too. So does the Kings man Lord Templeton who has come to see the marriage takes place. He is also very funny. He has had enough of the delays of the marriage and consummation. So he sees to it LOL!!

Once the couple comes together they have a hot sensual marriage and grow in love with each other.
Truly a enjoyable story I couldn't put it down. The story leaves you with a smile on your face.
Narrator was very good.

I loved how the story started out hilariously and then moved into the most sensuous love scene ever!

Justin Hill brings the story to life.

Laugh out loud funny. Great romance.

This book had me laughing so hard that I had to rewind to make my husband hear parts and he cracked up too. I wish it could have been dual narration for the sake of the female voices. This will be a re-listen for the laughs it gives.

Bliss - LOL

is in my top 15 favorite Authors! This was an very engaging book wth many mysteries & plot twists, however, though I adore an (extensive/ extension) epilogue, this one did not include an heir/heiress of Holden/Tierrany!

Once again Ms. Lynsey Sands. . .

If you could sum up Bliss in three words, what would they be?

funny, well-read, great

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The story was set in 1173, but the dialogue was very modern. Especially when the healer asked a patient if she had " an allergic reaction". This term seems out of place 850 years ago. I doubt anyone knew about allergies back then. The heroine said that a tenant was "turfed out". that is slang that is used in modern speech, not in that time period. All of the words that were out of their timeframe, took me away from the story.

What does Justin Hill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is an excellent narrator. He is very much like Nicholas Bolton, and even a little better in some aspects. I can't say enough about JH, but will be looking for all the books he narrates, as he is a new find!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh. Some of the circumstances went on a little too long, but not to the point of being frustrating.

excellent narration
