John Milton for the win again

Now that I have listened to every John Milton book and don’t have another to listen to I am at a loss! John Milton helped me through my health issues while I was out of work and has become like family to me. I hope that Mark is working on the next book, in the mean time I will find another series by Dawson and hopefully David will the the narrator

Can Milton Do the Impossible ?!?

Milton is desperate to get The Firm off his back, and the only way to do this is to locate Control and bring her back from wherever she was being held prisoner by Otto Sommer. David Thorpe voices the characters with great and consistent skill. It’s a great story and terrific storytelling effort !!

It had all the elements I’ve come to enjoy with this series. All loose ends tidied up with a twist and tease for future books. Too bad the next in the series has had not so good reviews. I’ll skip and hope for better. Thorpe is an excellent narrator. He brings that extra star to reviews. I think the only downer with this series is that not all the books were available to listen to in their order when I first started, but I see more are now. I’m too far into the reformed Milton, and won’t go back.

the story the pacing was perfect, I twisted twist and the end. so much suspension of whsts going to happen next.

Nice segue to the next…?

Milton goes on. Old friends-Hicks and Penn-are out there for whatever is next from the mind of Dawson. I’m watchfully waiting!
