Russell Bones Nelson and the Blues

This fictional story is about a Blues musician named Russell Bones Nelson who frequented bars, nightclubs, and juke joints in the 1930s. The ladies love him and the men wonder why. He loves to travel by hopping trains and loves to play his songs on borrowed guitars. This story began with a three-minute song and my imagination drummed up the names of musicians as I wrote the tale. Russell Bones Nelson...He whistled all the time, He smoked big cheap cigars. He lived for the Blues and good walking shoes. His best friends were borrowed guitars.
