Ricky Beamer is furious when he gets kicked off the school paper, so he decides to play a joke on Tashas, the bossy editor-in-chief. Just a little joke. Harmless, really.

After school one day he sticks a message in the paper. "If you're a creep call Tasha after midnight" it reads.

I felt really bad for Ricky. I wouldn't have been surprised if the teachers encouraged the students into teasing Ricky on the regular. The narrator was very nasally, which I get since Ricky came off as a nerd/geek stereotype. Not surprised at the ending. There wasn't much to be scared at, maybe the lunch lady scene was creepy. But overall, I'm glad I finally read this title.
