Chapter 1: The Wreckage

Dark storm clouds gathered on the horizon as the Johnson family, huddled together on the ship's deck, braced themselves for what was to come. David, a tall and weathered man with determination etched on his face, barked orders to secure loose items and gather life jackets. His piercing blue eyes scanned the chaos unfolding around them, his voice steady and commanding.

Emily, a compassionate figure with chestnut brown hair cascading around her face, clutched onto Sarah and Michael, her hands trembling slightly. She offered words of reassurance, her voice soft yet filled with conviction. "We'll be okay," she whispered, her gaze fixed on their two children, their wide eyes reflecting fear and uncertainty.

The wind howled and whipped through their hair, tugging at their clothes as if mocking their attempts at control. The ship rocked violently beneath their feet, causing them to stumble but also reminding them of the danger that lay ahead. Each member of the family clung desperately to the railing, their knuckles turning white from the strain.
