I enjoyed this book, but too short! I needed more...was hooked from the beginning! The heart wants/love who it wants/love! Will there be a part 2? Great job Tiye!

Soooo good!!! This is the first book I’ve listened to from this author! Excellent!!!! The character development and the way she makes you feel their love and the pain. Highly recommend!

This really had me in my feelings, like super, duper deep. It made me relive those times my trust and love was mishandled. I reminisced about the doubts I had when meeting someone new. This book was so relatable in so many ways. Iikane is such a joy to listen to. The way she has a distinct voice for every character is amazing. Wonderfully executed!

Holy smokes!! I need more asap!!! I’m invested and want to see what happens next. I freakin loved these characters, flaws and all. Chris and Simone’s story is hopefully not over! Well worth the listen!!

Dr. Simone!!

Always love a narration by iiKane; she can do an awesome male voice. From their first interaction, it was depicted as lust. However, as time went along, it escalated to love. However, that was hard for Simone to take seriously once she found out Chris' kept secret. Would she hear him out? She would have to go with the flow and see if their relationship would blossom. Will this student/teacher-like relationship last?
