Cheyenne’s goals were simple - start her nursing career helping under privileged people, especially Indians living on the reservations, and find her long-lost father who’s last known whereabouts was the northwest wilderness.
With all the nursing applications being denied because the west was too dangerous for an unmarried woman, she answered a mail-order bride advertisement, finding the perfect man…almost.
Her husband-to-be is a handsome, kind, thoughtful gentleman, but his eyes and heart hold so much sadness. She soon finds that he’s in love with another woman yet being forced to marry her. How will Cheyenne survive on her own if she's rejected? But can she live with a man whose heart may never be hers?

Wonderful!

Cheyenne went out West to get married so she could nurse people in need. When she got there, the man she was to marry was in love with another woman. She sent up a lot of prayers.
The narrator did a fantastic job with the story. The characters had their own moments that I could relate too.
