The Gift of the Magi, or, Three Wise Men (Volume 1)

Christmas. The birth of Christ. The first gifts of the Magi: Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. A tradition of gift giving was established on the very first Christmas Day, when the Prince of Peace received gold, frankincense and myrrh from the three wisemen, Balthazar, Melchior and Gaspar (Caspar). The Christmas story, the birth of Christ, the gift of the magi is our common heritage. It is a classic tale of love, devotion and the art of giving, told and retold in a modern setting, in Chile... "Behold, a virgin shall conceive, And bear a Son, And shall call His name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14 In the time of King Herod, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, asking, "Where is the child who has been born King of the Jews? For we observed his star at its rising, and have come to pay him homage."
