Arrow's sleep is being disturbed by nightmares that she cannot remember when awake. Her days are spent trying to build her new, simple life in the human world and helping the shape-changers track down the last conspirators that tried to destroy the Erith.

But the Erith want her help one last time. The Erith heartland needs a new monarch, and the Erith require Arrow's presence for the selection.

Nothing is that simple, though, and Arrow finds herself dealing with betrayal that could tear the heartland apart. She will need all her skills, and the help of the few people she trusts, to prevent the destruction of the heartland, and the world.

What a great series, I very much enjoyed it. Great narration also! Held my imagination throughly.

Great series ending.

What an amazing series and a great ending to it, too. Again, lots of action, lots of suspense, lots of intrigue, and bad guys. Fortunately, the good guys were really good, of course. No summary here. My opinion only - loved it. Loved the hugely creative world, the challenges to the good guys (Arrow in particular), and the good guys always staying the course. Highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates Ilona Andrews, Patricia Briggs, Elizabeth Hunter, D.B. Reynolds. I could go on. Many really excellent Urban Fantasy-type authors.

Kristin Atherton-just amazing as narrator.

wonderful end

This last book was as good as all the others in the series. I especially loved the very end. I look forward to reading more books from this author.
