An Adventure Exploration Duology

The Cloud Runners live on a patch of grassland between the mountains and the desert. Many years ago, the Goddess created a path through the clouds to bring them here, fleeing death and destruction. With game in the grasslands and woodlands and safe from any enemies, the Cloud Runners prospered.

Now overhunting has killed all the game, and foragers have stripped the woodland clean. It would seem the Goddess has turned her back on them, and as the last tribal treasures are traded away for food, starvation threatens.

Jermyn, a youth of only ten and five years, is fed up with watery stew. Though not a hunter, he has his heart set on a turkey. He finds a path in a patch of mist and follows it to a tiny hunter's paradise.

Secrets about the mist, his family, and his heritage underscore how far his tribe has fallen, who is to blame, and why his talent must remain a secret.

With snow covering the countryside, empty storehouses, and enemies on every side, Jermyn's strange talent is all that stands between the Cloud Runners and extinction.
