Dark Covenant

Zoe Lake is engaged—even she can't believe it. Aric Winters, the man of her dreams, has slipped a ring on her finger and asked her to pledge her future to him. She's ready—kind of. When death and destruction explode—literally—Zoe has a decision to make. Old enemies die hard, and it seems the path to happily ever after winds through Covenant College. Lost character

Narrator sounded like she was talking low almost short of a whisper, cracked at times.....distracting. The banter between heroine and Eric was more like arguing rather than playful. Would have been better with first narrator.
