Better than most academy litrpg.

Most of the time i find academy litrpg so boring but this one wasnt. Competitive and action driven the book had nothing but action to it, its the best i've gotten in a while in an academy type book. Im probably getting the next book.

Amazing Book.

The writer did a great job with this story. The characters and the role they play got me invested for more. Some more description would have been nice to better visualize places and people.

A fantastic story and performance, amazing characters, a truly must read/listen, highly recommend this book to anyone looking for fantasy.

kiru has grown on me

There are aspects of Kieru and William I found irritating but once I realized the path of character synergy and growth I enjoyed the progression. I'm downloading book 2 now

Meh Young Adult Story

This seems to be written for a young adult / young teenage audience. It's meh and I struggled to finish it but I could see it working for the right audience which is why i gave 3 instead of 2 stars.

Bad people are very obviously bad with no redeeming qualities. The good guys are generically good and don't have a ton of depth. A lot of it feels like a bad joke of "a guy in a wheel chair, a nun, a blind man and a demon walk into a bar" but with no punch line.
