Emotion Captured perfectly!

This was so well done. Compared to my head voice I read in the actors did such a wonderful job. My mind was taken into the book on a much deeper level.

Dark Monster Romance: Autistic MFC + MC of Incubi= laughs, suspense, and spice!

Demons and Debts by Kyra Alessy and narrated by Lia Langola and Stephen Dexter was amazing. They did an excellent job bringing this monster romance to life. The story follows Jane and autistic woman that is being stalked that pays a MC of Incubuses for help. However there are quite a few misunderstandings early on as they underestimate Jane. Strongly though they all seem to feel a pull to her however Jane refuses to be food. Will they keep her safe and how much is she willing to give up for the ones she loves? I can't wait to see what happens in the next book since it ended on quite a cliffhanger in multiple ways!

Loving this Storyline

Narration is great, though the female narrator’s voice feels a bit too mature for Jane. I read this originally on my Kindle and am thrilled it is finally on audiobook. I can’t wait to listen to book 2 when it comes out.

Intense,complex and utterly addictive

Beautifully written, perfectly executed and so good that I just want more!
Kyra Alessy has a knack to weave characters that rip me to shreds.
Jane,our fmc character is a neurodivergent in the spectre of autism but she isn't defined by her diagnosis, but a loveable woman suffering blow after blow,struggling in a society that doesn't understand her and social clueless but still strong and utterly loyal to those few who deserve her heart.
In the Incubi MC she's surrounded by sexy and powerful incubi demons she sticks true to herself and what matters to her.
But there are secrets to unravel and powerful enemies threatning her life and the ones surrounding her.
With a rich world building,imaginative plot and characters that steal your heart I highly recomend this 1st part of a triology .

Audiobook Thoughts: This dual narration audiobook is voiced by Stephen Dexter and Lia Langola. I thought both narrators were terrific for their respective characters. Lia Langola did well with the inflection (and sometimes lack thereof) common in those with autism. Stephen Dexter was fantastic at voice the MMCs with enough variation I could tell who was speaking.

The Lovely: This was a fun, and hot 🥵, story. I liked the portrayal of the autism in the FMC - it felt realistic and accurate based on my experiences. Her reactions and thoughts to the incubi were perfect and sometimes twinged with humor.

The Mundane: It felt like to me the further we got into the story, the more we got away from the underlying stalker plot and the mystery about who Jane was, and I found myself missing that.

Recommendation: This ends on quite the wild cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next book. This is a completed trilogy in print. And books two and three in audio format will be releasing April 16. If you’re in the mood for a hot and dark romance with supernatural beings helping a human on the run, I think you would like this book.
