In the near-future, a discovery of both religious and scientific significance has all but proven that the Earth may be only a few thousand years old. Before the full ramifications of this discovery can be truly understood, an ongoing series of unimaginably powerful electromagnetic pulses paralyze civilization for years. An unlikely quartet sets out to stop the EMPs. Army Special Forces Sergeant First Class Jude Garland leads the group, though he hides his true motives from his companions.
