Alyc Halcyon was born to be a champion for Emberfall’s sacred Trials of Valor. But when the Trials begin, the war-hardened kingdom swiftly collapses into bloody chaos. Betrayal from the highest seats of power leaves Alyc hunted, orphaned, and forced to flee the only life she has ever known.
