Everyone in emergency services should read it at least once

Working as a paramedic for almost 15 years as well as my husband and being a fireman for equally as long we're well versed in the realm of emergency services and the lifestyle in our house. This book brings about some great points that honestly any emergency services personnel should read/listen to. This book holds some valuable information about not losing yourself when you'redeep in the trenches. I'm lucky enough to have a spouse who's been in the same situations I have and understands how it makes your brain work but not everyone has that. This gives some perspective on how to deal with it around people who have never experienced what we do everyday. Great read

Great tool

This was a great tool to listen to and go back to as you go through this career. You can have take aways if you are a volunteer or career first responder.
