Incredible!

An amazing book, and an amazing performance by Toby Longworth. I never cared much about air units in 40K, but this book changed that!

Slow start, incredible ending

This was a book series full of characters I was completely unfamiliar with. I started this book by recommendation and for the first two hours, I honestly didn’t enjoy it. A lot was going on but much of it just was not entertaining to me.

Then the middle part of the book happened. Somewhere around Day 260 and everything was just so damn good. I became more interested in the characters and the plot. I keep imagining the later air combat scenes as if something I’ve watched in WW2 Films about those great air battles but only in the 40k universe.

I definitely recommend this book to others just like it was recommended to me.

Slow to start, but gets engaging towards the end

Obviously inspired by the Battle of Britain, this novel weaves different characters together under the backdrop of an air war. Some of the characters are sweet and endearing and I hope we can see them again. I like how they all are fated to meet each other towards the end.
This novel reminds me of an old war movie.

don't miss this story

loved it and was sorry it was over great characters and story. excellent performance and extremely entertaining especially if it's your first 40k book.

Sad to see it end

I loved this book. It has action , some drama and characters you like i felt sad when someone bought it yet no death seems forced in. It’s a great book I’d recommend it
