Virtual Voice

The story was good, but I did not care for the virtual voice narration. Most of it is monotone and boring.

Virtual audio ruins books

The story has some potential with its characters and content. But “cheaping” out of providing an actual person to read the story properly, with the right affects, tone and inflections makes All the difference between a good story and a crappy version of something that could have been decent. The virtual audio truly ruins this story, and all the accompanying ones in this series. It has grated on my nerves s much, it has caused me to discard any other books in this series, and by this author. Do yourself favor and eliminate the cheap way of doing things, as it’s going to cost you paying customers and direct us towards authors that choose to add the relevant ‘real person’ commentary to their stories instead.

Gratuitous Murder and Mayhem

The horrible cold way in which far too many were murdered was just too much. Horrible. A good murder mystery is terrific but this seemed to just throw in more and more for filler. Horrible, just horrible.

AI voices are terrible. I won’t listen to another AI title. Words are mispronounced and emphasis is incorrect.
