Dreamscape: Rescuing Pancrates

With the arrival of mysterious Aunt Maude on Christmas Day, young Samuel Flynn learns that his innocent removal of two objects from the fairy tale world has thrown it into turmoil which only he can resolve. Upon his return, he is captured by Rumpelstiltskin and he meets Rose, a fellow-captive. Working together, they escape and flee to the sanctuary of a quirky village overrun by white rabbits. They are invited to a strange tea party where they are befriended by Fred Bassett, a hound with a very odorous problem who later accompanies them. Sam soon learns that the spell of the sorcerer’s apprentice has worsened, and hundreds of animated brooms are wreaking havoc everywhere. They plan to locate Pancrates, the Great Sorcerer, who alone can reverse the spell. Tom O’Grady, the sorcerer’s apprentice, deceives them into believing that he is on the same quest to find Pancrates and restore order. Nothing could be further from the truth.
