The Elf King of Alfheim’s got some explaining to do.

Werewolves, vampires, and witches have been allowed to live - and cause problems - in Arne Odinsson’s domain. The other Elven Courts want an explanation, and when the Elf Emperor calls a Conclave in Las Vegas, Arne and his people have no choice but to defend themselves.

With his control of Alfheim riding on the quality of his Conclave witnesses, Arne sends Frank Victorsson and a werewolf, Remy Geroux, to track down a reformed succubus whom Alfheim helped centuries ago. But when Frank makes the mistake of offering his services to a trickster god, he and Remy must navigate not only angry spirits and elven politics, but also a horde worse than vampires - cosplayers.

Because where would an international Elven Conclave happen? At the world’s largest international cosplay gathering, of course.

Another good chapter in the series. The narrator does a great job. So many characters yet he remembers each voice from book to book.
