Empathy

A sequel to "The Long Day." Twenty-five years after the defeat of the Tecate', the universe is celebrating the victory Jubilee, but things quickly turn dark when a new threat appears; a threat far worse than that of the Tecate'.

A vast intelligence that knows only hatred and rage emerges, and its goal is the complete destruction of all life, everywhere. Armies and technology are failing, but just as all is about to be lost, a new hope is found on an obscure planet known as Earth. But the victory, if it comes, will not be one of war. Only love and empathy can offer hope, but can it overpower the forces of hate, or is it too late?
