Eugene Onegin, an aristocrat, much like Pushkin and his peers in his attitude and habits, is bored. He visits the countryside where the young and passionate Tatyana falls in love with him. In a touching letter she confesses her love but is cruelly rejected. Years later, it is Onegin's turn to be rejected by Tatyana.

So beautiful!!

Downloaded it a few days before seeing the Opera in Sesttle. Such a pleasurable listen. I had to pause numerous times just to smile and soak in what I was hearing. The end nearly brought me to tears. I cant wait to get the actual book now and read it over slowly. I love that audible has books in other languages too. PS, the readers pauses and overall style didn't sit well with me at first but then I increased the speed of the recording and it was perfect.
