Despite being the enemy of both humans and monsters, nothing will stop Xen's rise to power. After all, the most dangerous of foes is the one that wears many faces—plays both sides—and reaps all the benefits.

What to expect:

Solo Leveling style world building, think modern day setting with portals leading to dungeons, and the existence of guilds.
An MC that starts as a dungeon slime who can shapeshift and devour the abilities of others.
Weak to strong, but fast-paced progression.

almost 5 stars! too much stat dump

really like the mc, he's in it for himself and very pragmatic. might turn off lawful good readers

the premise is pretty awesome.

but at the end it felt like only doing the same kind of sidequests to prevent the story being over.

also i find it very strange that the 3 humans dont inform him that killing people is bad as it can get you into trouble unnecessarily. and maybe just keep it to the people that are trying to kill you.
that about this subject zero conversation is held and just blindly accepted really pulled me out of the story.

I really enjoy inhuman MCs as well as the multiple point of view. once again another Great beginning too a really well done

Another amazing book

I gave this book a try due to how well the demonic tree books have been and I was blown away this book in my opinion is better then the demonic tree. I can't wait for the next release

Shockingly Bad

I say "shockingly" because I like the author's other books quite a lot. This one is terrible. There are much better books with this same premise. I could not even finish this one. There is nothing interesting about the world, the main character, or other characters. Everything is as generic as paper. Also, the narrator sounded about as uninterested in the book as I was.
