The narration is brutal AI generated and sounds awful. Not sure how anyone can make it all the way through with the constant mispronunciations.

Profound read~ valuable

Kierkegaard is beautifully capable of telling stories you thought you knew and requiring a deeper plunge into the possibilities of individual human experience within them... I had to rewind several times to “get it”, partly due to audio format without the text - so of course I got the text alongside as well. That was helpful.

This is Walter Lowrie’s translation, from about 1940. It would be helpful if Audible included this information in Title Details when offering a work not originally written in English.

The reader is clear and precise. I appreciated his calm reading voice.

Brutal reading

Pronunciation of foreign languages so bad it's distracting. AI slop bad. Truly unfortunate, one of my all time favorite books.
