Extremely interesting story line

Woah woah woah. Didn’t see that twist. Narrators did great except the kid voice, makes me cringe.

This was brilliant

Each time I read another book in this universe I love it. These characters are well written and the story is great. This little section of the universe has me addicted.

Not my favorite of the series!!
Fionn is the typical younger mmc of the bunch who is ruthless, irrational and just crazy.

So at a wedding he has a ONS and our fmc takes off!!!! The number of years that goes on between these 2 and the reasons why was so frustrating to read!!!

There’s one aspect I know a lot of people cannot stand in this book but based on the plot and dynamic of our two characters is actually makes perfect sense for this story

I’ve seen a few reviews before I read this book with frustrations on Fionn’s actions in the club after Amara left. Someone said it happened immediately after they were intimidate, and that is false. Fionn and Amara had a one night stand where she left in the middle of the night and gave him a false name. Fionn has been searching for her for weeks. Him and his brother go to Konstantin’s club where he receives a BJ from one of the workers, and imagines it’s Amara. They are not together at this time, he has no way of finding her, so when he goes to the club and this happens, it didn’t bother me. Do I wish he didn’t? Sure. But they weren’t a couple at this point, they literally had one night together. Though, he was instantly obsessed with her.

Now that this is out of the way, I really enjoyed this book. I will say this was an insta attraction type of book. It starts off hot from the start, and boy was it hot. I really love Fionn, he has chased Amara for years ever since she left him. And when he finds her with a toddler, and the age of Fia and the last time he saw Amara were a little too coincidental. He immediately claims her as his daughter. Fionn loves so freaking fierce and I’m obsessed.

I loved this audio, it was done in duet narration which is my favorite narration. This cast was phenomenal and did these characters justice.

Amara is 19 and Fionn is 31 whenever they first meet. Several time jumps around chapter 15. 5 years total. FMC 24 MMC 36 whenever they meet back up.
Amara has had to work hard for every single thing in her life. She had to drop out of school to support her mother. Life has really beaten her down and when her boyfriend takes her away for a trip, she doesn’t expect to catch him cheating…Fionn steps in and they end spending a very steamy night together. She gives a fake name and disappears….
She accidentally witnesses him killing someone, realizes it’s him and decides she was all wrong about him… she flees for her life. Before she can run with their daughter, he catches up to her with intentions of killing her. Only when he realizes it’s HER, and that they have a daughter, he decides they’re getting married and he wants into her pants.
