Clean and wholesome

Flash and Flare by Lona Edwins is a great clean romance. Kristen Saburn did a great job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, enjoyable, wholesome, clean and romantic. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. Highly Recommend

Ok

I’m kind of confused about this romance novelette. You were just thrown in and it feels like you’re missing something as a result. There are 2 different character perspectives. One is of the main love interest and the other perspective is the “matchmaker” character. I just didn’t enjoy the matchmaker perspective. I understand this character was doing things behind the scenes to get the couple together. I just think instead of having several chapters from her perspective it could have been handled differently such as these could have been deleted scenes or bonus chapters or even at the very beginning of the story you could have met this character and had her come up with the plan for the matchmaking and just go from there on meeting the main characters. You then could have had both of the love interests perspectives which I believe would have made this novelette so much better. Some of the elements of the storyline just didn’t do it for me. I was just irritated at certain scenes that I believe could have either been done differently or not at all. The pacing and flow of the story had some kinks and could have been done better. In the end this was an okay story I neither loved it or hated it.

the story seemed to jump all over the place. It was a short story so I gues they tried to get as much as possible in.

Slow romance

I love the slow burn romance instead of the quick heavy sex scene for a change.
Real good, would recommend to anyone for a very relaxing read.
