Finding yourself

Forbidden Hunger is an amazing book that offers revenge, love and finding the truth. The book is well written with believable strong characters. The storyline is strong and fast paced. I received this audio book at my request and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I found this novella to be simple yet pleasurable. I liked Janna’s feistiness. I wouldn’t mind trying to read a full length book by the author.

Unfortunately the narrator kinda messed with my enjoyment of the story. While his voice was nice enough I found his delivery to be a bit bland and robotic.

Good Shifter Romance

If you enjoy a good shifter romance with great characters, this one will give you a few hours of entertainment. Janna Lawson is a half human/half shifter on the run after her Mother's murder. When she finds her father, she also finds a whole lot more in Garrett Foster, the Alpha wolf of the Lee County Pack. Janna has to fight her wolf nature, but finds herself being unaccountably drawn to Garrett. At the same time, he is determined to protect her at all costs.

I enjoyed the story, but felt like it needed to be fleshed out more. The ending seemed fairly abrupt after the build-up. Also, I would like to know more about the Reaping and the two kids that Janna brought with her to the Pack. All in all, if you are a fan of shifter romances, you will enjoy this one.

The narrator is one of my favorites and he does his usual wonderful job with his voices and pacing.

Cant wait to hear more in this series

Forbidden Hunger : Lee County Wolves Series, Book 1 was a excellent shifter I found this story emotionally touching. Janna Laason goes searching to find a shifter her mother died trting to protect as her Moms final wish . Her search found her in a shifter community into Garret Foster the alpha and into feelings she didnt understand . The people who killed her mother are coming for her and she has to come to terms with all that is happening but mostly a forbidden hunger she hadnt expected. I loved this story and it was excellently performed.

Ingrained Goodness

The ending could have had more detail. In more in-depth description of the fight scene. Overall it was enjoyable and an easy listen.
