Hard to Finish

The female character has PTSD but didn't deal with it. I wish someone had suggested therapy. Not a big fan of the narrators.

Great story

It has a lot of action, trust and passion. This book had me wanting to keep listening. I couldn’t wait to get back to listening when I got off work. A great read can’t wait to her the next one.

By the end I forgot how it all started

By the end of the story I had forgotten how it all started maybe the book could be a bit shorter. I had it figured out way before the ending exposed the outcome. Wish I could have had an epilogue that was 3 years down the road

Hot Adventure!

This story will keep your interest. I recommend you listen to Bloodied Hands first. They run together, even though they can be standalone.
Lino and Samara grew up together and were best friends. Samara married a man that was cruel to her. Lino called her Little Dove and he wouldn’t touch her until she was free of her husband. He ran a mafia business and the women flocked to him.
Meghan Kelly and Patrick Zeller were fantastic narrators. Patrick has a sexy growl to his voice and Meghan is a true professional! She can bring out all the emotions in the characters. They are a great team! I was watching every second through their voices.

WHY??

the story is spectacular.
Patrick Zeller is an AMAZING narrator who brings incredible art to everything he narrates
BUT... The female narrator WAS. AWFUL.
unfortunately, she narrates every single book in this series with Patrick Zeller. I plowed through this book because the story is so good... but I will be reading the following books because the female narrator kills it.
