One lapse in judgment has ripple effects I never saw coming.

Legal battles, jail time, and league punishments don't faze me as much as losing the two people who are most important to me.

I'm still learning how to navigate these relationships, especially as they've started to pay the price for my actions. The fear of losing them grows stronger each day, and I don't know how to fix things between us.

I'm determined to make forward progress and rebuild what I've destroyed. I just hope it isn't too late.

Forward Progress is the fourth book in the Vegas Aces: The Playbook series, which must be listened to in order.

I don’t like the male narrator in this story at all. He cusses too much and why does he end every word that he can with the letter (T). What the heck is that about. His character seems harsh and negative too often. It might be that I don’t like his demeanor. On the other hand, maybe I don’t like the authors writing. I don’t understand why the author or producer would choose narrators whose voice doesn’t fit the age of the character. The male narrator in this story sounds like he’s in his 60’s. Callie Dawson could have done both the male and female narrators parts. Duet narration is best.
