Genesis Atkins has gone through life knowing he was the least loved by the Atkins family.

At least that's what he's been told. Having a name that can move mountains for you at the drop of a dime and not being able to use it for gains is useless. Taking what he wanted had become his thing, and he took from anybody and everybody, no matter the status.

Cheyonne (chee-yon-knee) Afor is a retired model whose agency is taking off. She's the role model you want your child to be around as well. Where her life is dull and routine, she's still Black, successful, and loved by those around her. Life gets chaotic when her prescription for therapeutic shopping is filled on the wrong day.

One takes while the other earns. It may seem like the two very different worlds would clash, but somehow, the wrong time is the right place for these two to start an unbreakable bond.

Good overall!!

I was excited to read book 2! It’s not a bad story at all. I think in certain parts it became repetitive. However; a good read!

A little boring

It was a good story but something about the delivery made it a little boring. I was about half way through the book before it had me fully engaged. Nothing was necessarily wrong with the story and all the characters were likeable.

Can't wait until the next one

I truly enjoyed book 2! Can't wait for book 3...when will it be added to Audible?

Narrators did a great job. They are 2 of my favorites.

Cant wait for book 3. I like the storyline and the banter. The MMC is a little unhinged just as book 1. Great writing

Reverse Age Gap & Forced Proximity..well!

This was the continuation and I am looking forward to Bentley’s nonsense. It makes sense about the loose ends. Hulk needed to be put down and yet here he is, the tie to Bentley.
