It’s been over a decade since a catastrophic earthquake created Devil’s fork - a canyon so deep that it had been impossible to explore until now, as scientists Keith Weber and Michael Mcloughlin have discovered a new world beneath our own. it lacks the luster needed to keep me enthralled for the next book. it's plot line is very muddy and unclear. just vague enough to make you want to inspect it further. just to find out it's magical Yahweh juice. maybe it's more that I was really hoping for more of a sci-fi thing then a supernatural thing. on a side note the reader seemed to speak heavy breathed, like William shatner doing spoken word poetry. really took me out of the story a lot of the time.
