Fae/Human romance

A very cute little story with great narration. An ex warrior finds a new home and a unique job in a little town, when a Fae trickster arrives and shakes things up a bit.

I'm never disappointed in a Zachary Johnson narration. He's superb in paranormal/fantasy titles. He nailed Orphium's personality and the tension between him and Leoric.

This new series seems to be in line with the previous book series. And I can't wait to hear more of it. and you wish the stories were a little bit longer.I believe the originals, uh, we're about three hours longer in read time. (I could be wrong on that)

Glad I didn’t start with the first book!

I was second guessing investing in such a large series of books(I feel I’ve been burned too many times and given ZERO closure).However in reading all the book samples before this one made me want to read this one first as I was not disappointed.I also have a thing for fae stories(maybe I secretly want to be one) and they will always tempt me.Doesn’t hurt to add that these narrators have voices of smooth velvet that make my toes curl.

the story

I loved the humor of the story. The two were bickering the whole time but it was obvious what was happening between them.
