Give Em Justice!

I liked Greta Gets the Girl a lot more than the first novel in the series, which I felt was less organised in terms of plot and I didn't like the characters as much. Greta and Kaelee are SO sweet and the plot tied up all loose ends, including the drama with her hyper-religious family. The story had a great message about taking control of your life and standing apart from your past, which shaped you but does not define you. The spicy scenes were excellent, as was the connection between our heroines. Never thought I'd find a southern twang appealing, but you learn something new every day?

P.S. Emily deserves her HEA after reading two books with her lingering around the periphery of two happy couples and wishing for her own love life to come around T-T

Entertaining enough

It was a good book, I kept me interested but I wasn’t completely enthralled. This was my first time listening to a book from this author, she did a very good job portraying some hard topics along with the fantastic job the narrator did.
But….omg Toni is infuriating! Her childish attitude almost made me DNF. I definitely won’t be listening to Addie and Toni’s story if that’s what I’m in for.
Adults unwilling to communicate while acting like children isn’t a trope I can deal with
