Meanwhile in franklin city, a quiet Memphis suburb, Bill Doolin is called back from retirement to investigate a high-profile cold case. Lau’s colleague's murder in franklin city brings the two hunters together. They join forces to find Lau’s daughter before her kidnappers take her beyond reach.

While searching both Bill and Lau uncover dark secrets about themselves that adds more urgency to their hunt and promises to change their lives forever.
