Unthinkable allegations are made against Nick, his accusers well-funded and extremely sophisticated. Initially, Diana writes off these heinous claims as political, a ploy to sway the upcoming election.
The evidence, however, continues to mount as the press has a heyday with the sultry subject matter. There is no shortage of people who would like nothing more than to see Diana and her man disgraced in the public eye.
The optics become so bad that Nick approaches Bishop and asks his friend to go undercover to seek out the smear campaign’s source. Meanwhile, the rumors of revolt abound, and the Alliance government is crumbling beneath Diana’s administration.
To help his friend and save the Alliance, Bishop embarks on a journey to find those responsible. He soon discovers that the task will pit him against a foe unlike any he has ever faced.
The latest technology, thought lost in the downfall, has arisen. Artificial Intelligence is being manipulated to direct a coup and overthrow the government. The men behind this electronic brain are ruthless, wealthy, and intent on ruling Texas.
It will take all of Bishop’s skills to defeat this silicon enemy and its army of advanced weapons. If he fails, the Republic of Texas is sure to return to the chaos, death, and destruction of the apocalypse.

I am so happy with this. My only criticism is that it isn’t longer! I’ve been reading Joe Nobody for 10+ years, and I’m dying to hear about how the downfall affected other countries (like Australia!) Thank you for another awesome read, Joe! Highly recommended!
